The FREUD DCD050ASTH15G is a 15-piece assorted-grit sanding disc pack designed for 5 inch random orbital sanders (ROS). Each disc uses a hook-and-lock (hook-and-loop) backing for fast, tool-free pad changes on standard 5 inch ROS pads. The assorted grit selection makes this pack practical for staging work across multiple grits without ordering several separate SKUs. At 3.26 pounds for the full pack, it is well-suited for stocking a service vehicle or shop bench. Installers, finish carpenters, cabinet fabricators, and general tradespeople who run 5 inch random orbital sanders will get direct use from this multi-grit configuration.

This disc pack is intended for use with 5 inch random orbital sanders equipped with hook-and-lock backup pads. The assorted grit range supports progressive sanding sequences, from material removal through finishing passes, on wood, painted surfaces, drywall, composites, and similar substrates. The pack format reduces the need for multiple single-grit purchases on mixed jobs or service calls.

Installation Notes

Disc changes require no tools align the disc face to the hook-and-lock pad and press firmly to seat. Ensure the sander is powered off and unplugged before changing discs. Inspect the backup pad for worn or damaged hooks before attaching a new disc, as a degraded pad can cause disc throw during operation. Match grit sequence to the substrate condition to avoid unnecessary material removal or surface damage.
