Description

The MIDDLE ATLANTIC – U.S. – LEGRAND PFD-8 is a plexiglass front door designed for 8-space rackmount enclosures. It provides a clear, protective barrier across the front of compatible rack frames, allowing visual access to installed equipment while shielding components from dust, accidental contact, and physical interference. This type of accessory is commonly specified in AV, IT, and light industrial rack installations where equipment visibility and front-panel protection are both required. Installation is handled by AV integrators, data center technicians, and low-voltage professionals working with standard rackmount enclosure systems.

The PFD-8 is suited for rack enclosure builds in commercial and residential AV equipment rooms, server closets, and equipment bays where an 8-space front door is needed. It is designed for use with EWR-series and compatible Middle Atlantic rack enclosures. Installers typically use this door when building out a rack that requires a finished, enclosed front face with a see-through panel for LED or display visibility without removing the door.
