Description
The KIDDE 1859 is a locking key storage unit designed to keep a spare key secured and accessible on-site. The unit mounts to a fixed surface and provides a tamper-resistant enclosure for key storage in residential and light commercial applications. It is commonly installed by HVAC technicians, service contractors, and facility maintenance personnel who require controlled access to equipment rooms, mechanical closets, or service entry points. The 1859 ships as a single unit and is sold individually.
The KIDDE 1859 is suited for installations where a spare key must remain on-site but secured against unauthorized access. Typical applications include mechanical rooms, rooftop units, pool equipment enclosures, and utility access panels in both residential and light commercial settings.
